ACCOLADES

“Rob at 1888 Media is a passionate music industry veteran who puts his diverse expertise to great work for their clients.” Piers Henwood [Amelia Artists]

“Working with Rob was wonderful. He is plugged in, thoughtful, and thorough. He knows his stuff and really has the artist’s best interest at heart.” Hayley Reardon

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Rob for a number of years now. During this time he has been an impressive colleague, consistently delivering outstanding results. He has an exceptional grasp of the music business and is a complete joy to work with. Rob is a true music fan at heart and his writing skills are second to none. His easy-going nature can sometimes disguise the hard-working and incredibly competent communications professional that he is.” Evan Stein (Experience Music Group)

“Rob Evanoff is the most professional, passionate, and intelligent guy Jag Star has ever worked with. We have been making music for over 10 years, and have worked with many publicists and managers along the way. No one comes close to Rob and his company. Because of his work ethic and ability to ‘think outside the box’, a lot more people know who Jag Star is. Rob is BRILLIANT at his job…not to mention he’s a super cool dude.” Sarah Lewis [Jag Star]

My experience working with Rob Evanoff has been a career-changer. His knowledge of all facets of the music industry allow him to plot just the right path for any artist, no matter if they’re a young band just starting out, or if they’re veteran musicians trying to get to the next level. I have found his services to be personal, professional, and effective. He has helped me create traction, buzz, and activity in a career that had little direction. Best career move I’ve made!” Carlos Calvo

“My band The Material hired Rob as our manager last year. We really enjoyed working with him and trusted him to always have the band’s best interest at heart (which is rare to find in the music world). Not only is he a great manager, but he is also an awesome publicist, which is always helpful for an independent band like ours.” Colleen D’Agostino

“I want a manager that I can trust, one that I can count on. I want a manager that will tell me when he doesn’t like something and be comfortable with me telling him when I don’t like something. I want a manager with experience in the industry and works with good ethics in all his doings. Rob has all of these things. Not only has Rob been a great manager for me, especially in the early parts of my career, but he has turned into a life long friend.” Sam Morrow

“Rob has helped me take my music and my career to new heights. From garnering global press, to getting me into radio stations around the country, to even connecting me with other musicians and bands I would later tour with, his role in my career has been crucial. Simply put, he does what he says he’s going to do, which is a rarity in today’s industry.” Kevin Daniel

“Rob is an innovative marketer and brings a unique approach to each project he brings on at 1888 Media. I have hired Rob and his team for several projects, and his services are always top-notch. He’s responsive, detail-oriented and brings new ideas to each project. I love working with Rob, and I know that my projects are being handled by someone with a real passion for his work.”
Nikki Fair – Director, Online Marketing at Rhino Entertainment

“I had the privilege of working in conjunction with Rob Evanoff on a Shanachie Entertainment project and he proved to be a highly efficient and resourceful social media specialist. His willingness to think outside the box and arm himself with the necessary knowledge to acquire media for our artist was commendable. He is resourceful, detail oriented, professional and enjoyable to work with.”
Monifa Brown, VP Publicity, Shanachie Entertainment

“Rob Evanoff is an asset to any company. I’ve used him now on two different album projects and he came through with great media exposure. He is proactive in getting things done and has a positive attitude. I would definitely hire him again as he’s a great team player.” Gary Wright

“Rob is an educated, hard working, no bullshit guy looking to get the job done and has supported several record labels that I’ve been affiliated with. I’d hire him!”
Marc Silverman, West Coast Label Liaison, ADA

“Rob Evanoff of 1888 Media was the best thing that could have happened to my album release, a stellar publicist by whose representation I immediately recognized my fantastic good fortune. Rob is a seasoned veteran with a generous tessellation of music industry friends and associates, though he nonetheless still toils with the hunger and enthusiasm of a young upstart. ‘Above and beyond’ doesn’t begin to capture the passion and dedication he brought to promoting me and my record. The results were palpable: a cavalcade of great press, reviews, print, radio, and video interviews, playlist placements, podcasts, performance opportunities, music video placements, top ten lists, and juicy pull quotes. That Rob was able to do so much with an artist of my modest station is testament to his uncanny agility and unswerving dedication to whatever cause he adopts. In addition to all the good press, Rob is a natural connector: he put me in touch with good people and planted seeds of artistic connections that are still proving fecund. Even after his allotted course of employ, Rob kept working, making sure things he had set in motion came to fruition (again, ‘above and beyond’). Whatever stage your career is in, I can’t recommend Rob Evanoff enough, and I can’t wait to work with him again.” Gabriel Judet-Weinshel (Unpinnable Butterflies)

“Rob Evanoff, of 1888 Media, is more than just a pleasure to work with. He is genuine, honest and always has his artists’ needs in mind. He is constantly thinking of new ideas and fresh ways to approach every scenario. I am extremely glad I came in contact with Rob and will definitely continue to maintain a strong business relationship with him!” Stef Huschka (City of the Weak)

Rob did an amazing job for my previous project. He had a ton of great ideas and did more for us in 3 months than we did ourselves in the 3 previous years. On top of that, he’s a good guy and those are hard to come by in this business anymore. Hope to work with him again very soon.” Corey Rozzoni, Adalene/Lights of Marfa

“Rob Evanoff is the Leonardo da Vinci of music managers. His multi-faceted approach is built around publicity, booking assistance and career management and has a been huge benefit to my career. Like any great manager, in the rare instance where he can’t get it done, he knows someone who can. From video premieres and album reviews to release strategy, Rob is my go-to for advice, assistance and planning. He calls me back, he answers emails promptly and always gives an honest opinion. On top of all that, his pure passion for music and easy going and conversational style are a breath of fresh air amongst the many salesmen posing as music managers. I’m thankful for the opportunity to have him as a team member for any of my musical projects. Need some doors opened? Rob Evanoff and 1888 Media are your answer.” Johnny “Chops” Richardson
