KEVIN DANIEL ‘Used to Be’ Video Premiere via UNDER THE RADAR

Rising Americana artist Kevin Daniel has partnered up with Under The Radar to premiere the music video for “Used to Be,” the second single from his forthcoming debut album, Things I Don’t See, due September 20 via Smith Music Group.

Interspersing grainy childhood home movie footage with newly shot sequences, the visual is an apt representation of his transformation.

Kevin explains, “This is one of my favorite songs on the album, and I knew I wanted to do something special. A while ago my dad sent me old footage from family home videos taken in the ’80s. He had since transferred them to DVD, and they contain lots of great shots of me and my late mother. My director friend Eric Ambrosino and I took the old footage, and shot new footage based on both the song lyrics and home videos. The result is a mashup of new and old. I was incredibly moved when I saw the first take and I think people will see the truth in the footage.”

Daniel is set to hit the road for the remainder of 2019 with his band The Bottom Line.
