In the latest issue of AGENDA, a high-end Fashion & Lifestyle magazine, Emmy/Golden Globe nominated actor Rob Morrow discusses his iconic roles on television (Northern Exposure, Numb3rs, American Crime Story: The People Vs O.J. Simpson, Billions, Designated Survivor, Chicago PD), his upcoming movie, The Kill Team (with Alexander Skarsgård & Nat Wolff), and his burgeoning music career with his group, the Rob Morrow Band.

Here’s an excerpt:

How would you classify the style of music that you are playing? And who have been your musical influences?

RM: We call it “funky rock” and “soulful pop.” It’s influenced more in the Van Morrison, Eagles, and John Mayer style but the funk comes through with a bit of Bruno Mars influence. We steal from a lot of musicians we like but the songs tend to have a narrative quality. They tell good stories. I think I’m a storyteller more than anything. The music is accessible in terms of melody.
