JENNIFER PAIGE: 90s Pop Stardom & Meeting The Pope (My Space Interview)

Gearing up for her first ever UK tour in July, acclaimed singer-songwriter Jennifer Paige chatted with My Space to discuss her latest album, Starflower, touring Italy and her embarrassing fashion faux pas when meeting Pope John Paul II after performing at a Christmas concert at the Vatican. She wore a bright purple sweater though the proper etiquette is to wear black. He still blessed her.

It’s one of her most revealing interviews to date as she talks about growing up in Georgia, becoming an International pop star when her song “Crush” rocketed to #3 on the charts to losing both of her parents within two weeks of each other, her parents’ home being destroyed in the Nashville floods and being diagnosed with Melanoma (she’s now cancer free).
