Music by CARLOS CALVO Featured on “The Fosters” TV Show

Hollywood guitar consigliere Carlos Calvo hit the studio last year with actor/director Rob Morrow (The People Vs. OJ Simpson, Billions, Northern Exposure) to record a batch of songs under the moniker Encounters.

An undeniable chemistry poured forth during the sessions with one of the standout tracks, “Out and About” catching the ear of a music supervisor for the hit ABC Family/Freeform show The Fosters.

Scoring a scene in “Minor Offenses” [S3 Ep 15],  the song’s rumbling sound revs up a drag race while show mainstays Mariana Foster (Cierra Ramirez) and Jesus Foster (Noah Centineo) are on a double date with bad-boy Nick Stratos (Louis Hunter) and Mariana’s best friend Lexi Rivera (Bianca A. Santos).

And although I find it extremely unlikely, that IRL, a Dodge Charger would outperform a BMW M6 in a straight-away (or in any way), it’s still a super-charged moment of high-octane tension.
